Policy

These are the booking rules for Bee Smart Driving School.

When you pay

You pay when you book, before the lesson.

• Card payment is taken through Stripe while the time is held.
• Cash is paid in person before the lesson starts. Choosing cash confirms the booking, and nothing is charged online.
• Bank transfer confirms the booking on the site. The transfer is paid outside the site, and nothing is charged online.

Blocks

A block of lessons is paid in full before the first lesson. Buying the block adds lesson credits. Booking a later lesson with a credit does not charge again.

Cancelling

The notice period is 24 hours.

If you cancel inside that notice, no refund is due. If you cancel with more notice, the lesson is cancelled and the site does not send a refund.

A lesson paid with a block credit stays spent if you cancel it. The hour is not put back.

Lateness

More than 10 minutes late, with no contact, is a no-show. The fee stays charged. A card payment is not refunded. A block hour stays spent. Unpaid cash or bank transfer stays due.

Getting in touch before that point keeps the lesson off this rule.

If Emily cancels

Cash or bank transfer is marked refund due. That money is paid outside Stripe, so nothing is sent there.

A card payment is sent back through Stripe. It counts as refunded when Stripe says the refund succeeded.

When the booking recorded which block it used, those hours go back. If putting them back fails, the lesson stays booked. A lesson booked before the block was recorded is still cancelled, and the hour stays spent.
